12/12

Today was little Faith's birthday. As adorable as she is, she's not easy to look after, unless you bribe her with food. Taking care of little children is not easy at all! It's nice to spend time with the family without having to rush home to do work and what not. In 3 weeks time I won't be able to anymore. I really gotta study much harder next semester, work extra hard for all those math modules especially. Least I bid with friends, so I won't feel lost if I don't understand anything! My stats results are out already. I don't know how they are gonna moderate, but out of the 4 components, I got a B+, C, C- and A+. Super sian -.- Results will be out on the 17th when the Registrar's Office releases them. I am quite stressed about it. But it's only the first semester, I know I haven't gotten into the groove yet. Hope I'll become more self-motivated in time to come. I'm glad that my mum's proud of me and how I've turned out, she said so today. She likes to say bad things about me sometimes to others, but I know deep down inside she's still happy :P

Yesterday at the opening, I was busy baking cookies in an oven I had never used before. We had planned to make mummy's famous carrot cake with cream cheese frosting (into mini muffins) and spiced cookies. The muffins just came out hard and I swear you could hurt someone if you hurled them at people. Gave up on the muffins, so baked the spiced cookies instead. These recipes are supposed to be family secrets. Haha! If mummy had just let me bake them on my own, I would have modified the recipe, especially when it came to the amount of sugar. It's enough sugar for an entire month. But it's so good! I guess once in awhile is fine.
Peiyi and Cindy came down to help me. How nice of them! Cindy came down at the very last minute, I am so touched that she remembered I needed some help! (: Anyway, my brother's friends also came down to help, not just on the opening day but before that as well. They stayed back with us the day before the opening until 1am cleaning and putting stuff in place. Was really very nice of them. They're not even getting paid. But of course, what are friends for huh (:
Yew Ming made it down. He said funny stuff. Haha. He's nice. My mum says he told her that he enjoys talking to me :P
Everyone said I look mature when I dress up. Thanks! HA! I refused to wear my stilettos though my mum wanted me to. I will not torture myself. Wore my BC wedges instead, so much more comfortable. I could even run in those wedges, amazing. Also, I was sooooo tall! As tall as Jeremy. 4.5 inches taller!

A sudden storm threatened to ruin it all. One moment it was nice and sunny and the next it started pouring so heavily it took everyone by surprise. There had been tents set up outside, and the catered food was all lined up there so it became really chaotic! The caterers and waiters were all rushing to pull down the covers to prevent the food from getting wet. Bouquets of flowers were toppling. Ah it was crazy. But all the while, I was still looking after the cookies in the oven! Other than that, it went pretty well, and there were lots of positive feedback. It's probably one of the most atas showrooms you will ever see. Haha. A lot of time and effort went into this... I hope it only gets better!

Preparing for the opening:
Lots of shopping
Lots of cleaning
Lots of driving around
Lots of sleep lost
Lots of money spent
Lots of unhealthy eating
And I wish lots of exercise, but sadly there wasn't many chances for me to do so ):

Was such a hazy day.

To Far East Flora to buy lots and lots of flowers. I don't like flowers but I think they're pretty. It was freaking cold there!!!!!!! It's colder than my fridge la. And my fridge is damn power already.

The days spent admiring the fast cars at the showroom beside IN2. We just realised today that we don't even know the name of the showroom, cos we're just way too busy staring at the cars. Look at the Aston!

I'm glad it's over, really. Now I can get back to training. I might ramp up MT trainings to 4 times a week if I really need to, with an entire session devoted to sparring only. I know there's the Team A, Team B thing. I hope I'm in Team A. I don't want to have trained so hard and not make it into the first team ):
I did sprints twice this week. They're fast and effective. No one can and should ever say there's no time for exercise. The entire run/sprints took me just 15 minutes. I even woke up early just to run, because I can't stand feeling unphat!!! ARGH.
100 push ups, 100 sit ups. Really doesn't take too long.

Ate some bad food this week... But glad to say I'm getting back on track with the diet!

Phatness to come!
