30/6

Early waking today. Had an awfully satisfying breakfast, then was off to MD for a short while mum was about checking her emails! We dropped by HP to get my horrible HP Pavilion laptop looked at. FINALLY (After almost a year)!
Judging by the number of people there at the service centre, I have come to a conclusion! But I shall not make 'defamatory' statements. Haha! Fortunately, my laptop is still under the extended warranty, so it's FOC! Phew! It wouldn't be worth it to pay for the repair. Shall get it back soon (: Then I get my privacy! Can use laptop in my bedroom (((((((:

Went to MOM at Clarke Quay afterwards to enquire about the employment agency licence. Wrong department :/ Had to make a trip down to Kim Seng Road's MOM instead. Unfortunately, it was lunch hour! We had to wait for an hour so we walked to Great World City (just across the road. never knew!) for another Subway lunch! This is my second consecutive day having a Subway lunch :D On the way out, I saw this stall selling lots of Chinese snacks and breads and paos! Couldn't resist my tau sar. Mummy bought one for me. OMG! It was the most awesome tau sar pau I've ever tasted!!!!!!!!! I can't stop raving about it! Apparently, it's from Crystal Jade. Haha. No wonder the pau cost so much la! But it's ok! Worth every penny (:

I am too young to hold the pass. LOL! Must be minimum 21 years old. But I will go for the interview/evaluation. I am sure I will be able to get the green light then (: Will then be holding lots of responsibility in the company. I will give it my best, then move on to my own dreams (: My own clothing line and cafe! (: I can feel it in my bones. It will be a success. I can then retire early and...! HAHA :P

Food journal 30/6
Breakfast:
2 pieces weetbix with oat milk
Cherries and grapes

Lunch:
Subway (oven roasted chicken breast wrap)

Snack:
Dried fruits and nuts

Dinner:
Fist-size serving chicken breast (Aunty Jasmin really outdid herself with this pan-fried recipe!)
Brocolli, carrots and mushrooms!

Indulgence:
1 Tau sar pau
1 chocolate biscuit
1/4 tart :P
Hey, I resisted Mr. Bean pancakes when I got abruptly dumped at Lakeside MRT today hor! AMAZING.

Have been eating loads of cherries lately! Lovely (: They're really good for ya!
A growing body of science reveals tart cherries, enjoyed as either dried, frozen cherries or cherry juice, have among the highest levels of disease-fighting antioxidants, when compared to other fruits. They also contain other important nutrients such as beta carotene (19 times more than blueberries or strawberries) vitamin C, potassium, magnesium, iron, fiber and folate.

Emerging evidence links cherries to many important health benefits – from helping to ease the pain of arthritis and gout, to reducing risk factors for heart disease, diabetes and certain cancers. Cherries also contain melatonin, which has been found to help regulate the body’s natural sleep patterns, aid with jet lag, prevent memory loss and delay the aging process.

A recent study from the University of Michigan reveals new evidence linking cherries to heart health benefits. The study found that a cherry-enriched diet lowered total weight, body fat (especially the important “belly” fat), inflammation and cholesterol-all risk factors associated with heart disease. According to the American Heart Association, being overweight or obese, in particular when the weight is concentrated in the middle, is a major risk factor for heart disease. As nearly two out of three Americans are overweight, emerging studies like this are important in examining the role diet may play in disease management and prevention.

Managed to workout today (: Feels good to sweat it out!
10 minute jog
4 X 45s sprints
20s/10s squats, 8 sets
(wasn't sore enough!)
5 min hula hoop :P (I'm pro at this k?!)
3 sets bicycle crunches, 15 reps
I also sprinted up 6 stories after my run! Heh! :D

While eating dinner after my workout, my maid told me about my new neighbours. Then they walked past the corridor. Nice :/
I don't know what they are staring at lor. *&(#
Can't stand them. And they keep walking past the house half naked. WTF! I DON'T LIKE!

28/6

Today was my first time driving in the morning. I have to say, it's much easier when things are so much more visible! But the heat... I don't quite like it. It only tans my arms from elbow down :/
I am awfully pleased with myself. HAHA! The instructor kept saying "Very good!" and "Can you please do something wrong so I can correct you?!". Zai! :D

Food journal 28/6
Breakfast:
6 cherries
1/2 bowl rolled oats with peanut butter and banana! (rolled oats is soooo much better than the normal instant oats! nice and chewy, full of fibre!)

Lunch:
YTF with lots of chye sim
1 glass oat milk

Snack:
Handful of almonds, raisins

Dinner:
Kung pow chicken breast!
Lots of bayam

Indulgence of the day:
1 tart :/ (there's 5 more waiting for me!)

I've decided to have at least one serving of fruit at breakfast, and limit my consumption of bread (max 3 slices a day!).
I know that I'll start feeling hungry soon, especially after workout. Got milk? Haha. I love those "Got milk?" ads.

Made a short trip to the supermarket. Mmm, no red dragonfruit. So upsetting :/

Today's workout:
5 min jog
Sprints (1 min intervals), total 15 min
Squats, 10 sets of 12
Dance? Haha. I'm sure you can't imagine! :P

My body's really sore now. I have no idea what I did, but my obliques are aching (doesn't happen so often). Inner thigh, shoulders, triceps, quads, chest! Oh gosh... When I left for BBDC this morning, I decided to walk to the MRT station. My mistake. I felt so awkward. Took the bus back. When I went to the PO, I walked again. Mistake. Took the bus back. LOL. Really can't walk normally. Can you imagine me jogging/sprinting?!

Will have to make one too many trips to SMU in the next month! Can't imagine travelling to City Hall everyday :/ The journey feels so long. I will arm myself with my iTouch or a book.
I have 2 confirmed camps as well. The compulsory Freshmen Camp and Bordue (biz camp). Was comtemplating joining SMUX or Sports Camp but... haiya... So many camps already. And if I'm not wrong, my 2 camps are back to back, with only a day break between. Maybe I should opt for an earlier run for the Freshmen camp, but it will eat into my weekend la. I DON'T WANT! :(
I told my mum about the stupid Bash. She said "Don't you dare!". Haha! Siao ah... I will never join this kinda thing. I'm too good for this shit! LOL!
Good news! Mum is getting me a Macbook! So should I get Macbook, Macbook Pro or Macbook Air?! Hmmm...

Home sweet home?

The past few days of shifting items home have been awfully tedious and full of friction. Everyone's pissed at each other, everyone's shouting, screaming. Sometimes for reasons I cannot fathom, but it's got me all moody and grumpy too! Argh! Hopefully, things will tide over soon.

I don't quite like my house! SIGH! I am so sorry, but I just prefer the old look. This one is just way too 'oriental' for my liking. My mum seems to be making up for her lack of 'cheena-ness' by making the whole house look like a Chinese house. Only the toilets, kithen, exercise room and my room are still free from the influence. Thank goodness I won't have to stare at a freaking Chinese painting in my room!
We moved back last night. I hadn't packed my stuff from my grandma's, and Mummy was really rushing me. I finished 'packing up' in under 20 minutes. I literally threw stuff into bags and boxes and left. I hate rushing :/ Especially for things like this. It felt like I was raiding someone's home!
Sorted out my room until 1am. It's nice and organised now! (:
First night sleeping on my new bed... Not too good initially. Took me awhile to get used to how much harder this Dunlop bed is compared to the mattress I've been sleeping on for the last 6 months and my previous bed which I slept on for over 10 years ):

Next, my shower. I know many people will think it's damn cool because I have a rain shower (is this what they call it?) now. But gosh, it takes forever to shower now! I want my old shower back! ):

No internet connection, desktop not set up, laptop spoiled = SIAN!

23/6

Met dear Andrea! Haven't seen her in ages, and man, I missed her company (:
We went to KBox at Cineleisure, and sang our hearts out for 3 whole hours! English songs only, cos obviously, I don't listen to Mandarin songs!
Sang stuff like "Poker Face" by Lady Gaga (for fun only! We sounded sooooo stupid!), "Boyfriend" by Ashlee Simpson (Sang solo! Woo, I really can sing this song damn well! LOL), lots of BSB, Adam Lambert, Jason Mraz etc. I don't know how Andrea could tahan my singing. Haha! So paiseh :/ But fun. It's nice to just drama a little and let loose with songs (:
We had Subway for lunch! Terriyaki chicken (:
Sinned afterwards with green tea and red bean shaved ice. Shiok! (:

My diet has been shitty these few days. Shall not comment on my recent meals :/
Busy = eat anything and everything + bigger quantities + less often + less exercise = GET FAT!
Therefore, busy = GET FAT! Shit! I can't take it! I need to workout damn badly now :/

Will eat well today, I promise myself! Lots of fruits and good, clean protein. Wish me luck!

And sigh! Missing someone AGAIN!

Shiok! Love it when my thighs ache like *)#@.

Went prowling for more sporting apparel today. I can't seem to find any shorts which are nice! Will continue on my quest whenever I have the time! (:

Been resting these 2 days, not much activity. Tomorrow's time for Crossfit. We'll see what becomes of me! :/ But still, looking forward to torturing myself! (:

Tears

Nice, cool, lazy day today indeed! I haven't accomplished a single thing today :/

Went for facial and massage. Total time spent = 3.5 hours.
30 minute of pure, excruciating pain. Argh! Why the %$&* is my skin so bad?!?!?! I blame genes! ): Mary tried her best to extract every single zit/blackhead/whitehead. She kept apologising, probably cos she knows I am in pain! Couldn't control the tears. Some places on the face are especially sensitive, and hurt so damn badly. I swear, this is the worst pain I've felt. Anyway, my face has lots and lots of red spots now. LOTS! I don't even want to step out of the house looking like this. I hope the redness subsides by tomorrow. She even had to give me a soothing ampoule to use for the next 2-3 days to reduce the redness. Gosh... It's really that bad huh ):

Had an hour of full body massage. Next time should ask her to massage harder! Think my body too strong. LOL! Whenever I go for massages, the masseuse always tells me I'm in good health. Apparently they can tell by your feet! Anyway, SHIOK LA. Incredibly good for my sore calves and hamstrings (:

Time to verify some invoices, then might take a nap later on!

http://sg.yfittopostblog.com/2010/06/17/the-hottest-wings-in-town/
Anyone up for the challenge?! Haha! Looks damn pedas la... Scared to try :/
Hottest wings in town! I remember Ken mentioned this during the BM course.

“Don't rely on someone else for your happiness and self worth. Only you can be responsible for that. If you can't love and respect yourself - no one else will be able to make that happen. Accept who you are - completely; the good and the bad - and make changes as YOU see fit - not because you think someone else wants you to be different.”

Power

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

16/6

Yesterday was back home for more unpacking and cleaning! Washed loads of dishes, folded clothes and even cleaned the toilet. I will make an awesome wife. I even cook. HAHA!
I cut myself! The glass was slippery and I tried to catch it as it slipped from my hands. Now I have a cut on my left middle finger. Don't make me show it to you. Haha! Oh man, typing is pretty hard. And so was cooking breakfast. You never realise how much you depend on all your fingers... It's healing. Soon, the scab will appear and it will get itchy and the skin is already getting tight! I can't stretch my finger straight out, cos I'm afraid the cut will open up again, like it did last night. What a pain man! Sucks.

Thankfully, I had time to workout yesterday. Back to Insanity, this time, pure cardio. I change my mind! Plyometrics is easier than pure cardio. Was suffering, but felt so good. All the aches, worth it!

Warm up (30s each):
Jog
Jumping jacks
Heisman
123-123
Butt kicks
Mummy kicks

Repeat (25s each), FASTER!
Repeat (30s each), FASTEST!

Had the extra motivation to workout due to overdose of tau sar in the early afternoon!

Breakfast:
Eggs with toast (1 yolk, 2 whites)
1 glass oat milk

Lunch:
Seafood soup
1 tau sar pau

Home is where the heart is

If Home is where the heart is
Then may your Home be blessed
A shelter from the storms of Life
A place of rest,
And when each day is over
And toil put in its place
Your Home's dear warmth
Will bring its smile
To light the saddest face!

Back to my place in the early morning with Mummy, Aunty Jasmin and Sya.
Someone tried to wake me up at 7am today, just to be at my place by 9:30am. When I refused to get up so early, she said "Forget it! I'll call Syawal. At least something will be done!"
I turned to my brother and said, "She loves exaggerating," then went back to sleep! ZZZ!

The house is almost done. Finally, after 6 excruciating months of sleeping on a thin mattress in a freezing room with both AC and fan switched on, of sleeping in a room with 2 people (one who snores, one who likes to squeeze me to the side of the bed), of sharing a toilet with 5 people, of people spying on me when I'm using the desktop, of not having my privacy when working out, of.... I can finally move back soon!!! I wonder how many times I've said "I can move back soon". I hope it really happens this time. We've removed all the bubble wrap, Styrofoam and boxes, and pretty much moved most of the things to its intended location. The 11 (or more!) Chinese paintings should've gone up this evening, and the sinks should've been fitted too by now! I really, really, really want to move back home! I need my own space, my own lil haven! I love just sitting on my bed, listening to music, reading a book, surfing the net, writing... I miss that.
Anyways... Today, Sya and I moved the tables, chairs, sofas, fridge, freezer, the huge ass microwave and dishwasher. I also arranged 2 boxes worth of CDs and DVDs, even cassette tapes! Sweat like hell! The house is so dusty and stuffy now. Lots of cleaning up to do! I must say, although I'm not a big fan of the Oriental theme by mum picked, it does look... nice. People walking past the corridor keep looking in and exclaiming how nice the house looks. They probably like it more than me though :/ One thing I do love. The upholstery! Looks really nice! (:

Was really moody in the day. Mummy starved me till 1:30pm and I didn't get to workout as intended! Was so upset ): Was finally glad to go for my driving lesson today, like for once, cos I just needed to do something else other than unpacking and shifting. Got my favourite instructor too! He's really nice. "Naggy", but nice! And he remembers me, and I really appreciate that he calls me by name. He says I drive well, so stable and cool. Haha! Thanks man! (:

Am about to sleep now. It's been a long day! My muscles are sore from Plyometrics yesterday, walking is a lil awkward! I need to sleep! I also gotta look out for my diet!

Words

Chocolate overdose

Didn't make it to Crossfit today, nor my planned workout for the evening. Still feeling a lil under the weather unfortunately! But I think, I should be more functional tomorrow. Will hopefully squeeze in a light workout in the afternoon!

Decided to wake up when I received my morning greeting, so didn't oversleep as usual! Today's just another lazy Sunday with the family, spent sitting around the dining table chatting about every single thing. We have all sorts of stories to share every week. Really fun time! As usual, when food comes, we somehow end up talking about shit. I don't know why! The topic somehow gravitates towards number 2. Haha!

Didn't manage to have my waxing party this week due to bad lighting and other plans, like baking! We had a wonderfully nutmeg-ish chocolate cake today. Within minutes out of the oven, we had it with vanilla ice cream. Oh my! SINFUL! I had like... maybe... 3 slices of cake? Haha! Was so gooood. Cannot resist, so just indulge. It did nothing to help my sore throat of course. To make matters worse, while roaming around in the pantry, I found some wonderful chocolate biscuits, which I couldn't resist either. Oh man! I can feel myself getting fatter. I can hardly fit into my size 25 jeans anymore. Think I have to get 26 now ): I slowly start to feel my un-skinny jeans getting tighter around the thighs as well. Oh oh... ! Can't wait to fence then! 2.5 hours per session, at least twice a week. Plus my own workouts... I will be fit and much quicker on my feet! I like! (:

Food journal 13/6
Breakfast:
Oatmeal with banana
A few mouthfuls of fried bee hoon
1 glass oat milk

Lunch:
Chicken breast tortilla

Snack:
Handful of nuts and raisins

Dinner:
Tahu goreng
Vegetable cooked with lentils
Beansprouts with tofu
Chicken breast
1/4 red dragonfruit
2 wedges papaya

Indulgence:
Chocolate cake, 2-3 slices
2 chocolate biscuits

Argh... I feel terrible. I succumbed to my weakness. Chocolate. I love and hate you!

Just trimmed my hair! I learned a very valuable lesson a long time ago... If you want your hair 5cm shorter, tell the hairdresser you want it 2-3cm shorter. She WILL cut it far shorter than what you want it to be. I told the lady today, less than 1 inch and I'm sure it's more than an inch shorter now. Luckily, my hair grows fast. And it's all thanks to my diet, or at least, that's what I believe! Eggs, beans, tofu, yogurt, whole grains... All good!

Hmmm... I'm harbouring thoughts of getting a Macbook Pro! HOW?!?!?!

Anyways! I love this picture!

Food journal 12/6

Breakfast:
Oatmeal with peanut butter, cinammon, honey and banana
1 glass soya milk

Lunch:
Yong tau fu soup
Chicken breast sambal

Snack:
Mixed nuts and dried fruits (:

Dinner:
Chicken breast from Kenny Rogers
Sides: Garlic and parsley potatoes, steamed vegetables
1 corn bread (NICE!)

I resisted lots of food today! Shall give myself a pat on the back for that! (:

Lovely

Today, I went out with a very very sweet person! (:
We watched A Nightmare On Elm Street, the 2010 remake of the Wes Craven's 1984 original slasher film. Pretty bloody... Very shocking. Luckily, I had something to hold on to! Haha! (:
Headed to Velocity to look at lots of sports stuff, followed by a very big meal at Kenny Rogers. Gosh, the chicken breast is soooo goooooood. But I kept picturing those poor chickens being slaughtered in Food Inc.

Watch this, and you will never look at your cheeseburger the same way again!
How did we get so inhumane? ): Saddening.

I really had an amazing day despite feeling a little down from my cold and sore throat. Thank you for the luohanguo! It was very thoughtful! So sweet ah! (:
I wish this day would never end...

I need my chocolate!

Food journal 11/6

Breakfast:
Scrambled eggs (two whites, one yolk) on toast, with melted cheddar. YUM!

Lunch:
Yong Tau Fu with lots and lots of bayam
3 wedges papaya
1 banana

Dinner:
1/2 dragonfruit

Indulgence:
Nutella between one slice toasted multigrain bread
One piece chocolate! (Yes, I need my chocolate. Bad.)

I can't be bothered that my throat is a little sore. I feel so deprived of my snacks! ):

Seems like the more time I spend online, the more money I spend :/ Sprees from VS, Old Navy etc...
ARGH!

Under the weather

I've had a nice few days chilling at home. Feels awesome sleeping in. It's a privilege that will be stripped away soon, so I better take the opportunity now to do so!

I headed to Z Fencing on Wednesday for my assessment with James Wong (my beloved coach of 4 years!). He didn't remember my name when the receptionist passed it to him. However, he did remember my face though he said I look different now! Well, I was all dressed for the assessment - track pants, tshirt and shoes. Unfortunately, I didn't get to do the assessment cos Coach says he already knows my standard! And I was so looking forward to Fencing after 2 years. I will be Fencing under the Elite team now. My first lesson will be the following week, Monday at United Square. Gosh! I gotta travel so far! And training finishes at 10pm. I will be so tired! I'll have lots of catching up to do, and I know I will feel so out of place, and for awhile, I will probably be the worse one there! But... I am not one to give up! I shall train up, and hopefully become a better fencer than I ever was! :D
But first... I gotta buy new equipment. Now I will no longer get free equipment from school! Sob! That's a lot of money. I will have to get my own chest protector, lead, foil, lame... Gosh! That's gonna cost a bomb for sure! :/

Been feeling a little sick the past couple of days! Hence, the tiredness and lethargy. I think I was just sick last month! Oh man! My immune system sucks. Haha! Can't wait to recover so I can get back to working out. Don't think I am capable of it now! ):
Sick = more soup!
Been having soup twice a day now. My maid's new recipe includes green beans, peanuts, sweet potato, cabbage, tofu, chicken breast and chilli padi. It's shiok! Clears my nose very well!

I just paid the fees for SMU matriculation. $200 out of my own pocket again. Why do I have a feeling that my mum is never gonna pay me back! Haha. She already owes me money! Like a thousand already lor. Maybe it's my fault though... I never chase her for it. Cos she loves to use this line on me whenever I ask her for money : "You only talk to me when you need money!" That's not true!
And while we are still on the topic of money... I am really spending too much money on clothes! My goodness... I feel so... guilty! I try to tell myself that clothes are necessities. Haha! Since uni is coming up soon, I got to have more clothes! I can't be wearing those clothes from years ago that my mum bought for me! They're ugly! ): Hmmm. I think I've spent close to $200 the past week on clothes. Of course, I don't spend this much every week la... I do have a conscience!
And while we are still on the topic of clothes! Haha... Love this too!

And Nicole Richie is so pretty! Even without make up! (:

Food journal 8/6
Breakfast:
2 pieces Weetbix with lots of oat milk!

Tofu, chicken and vegetable soup

Happy with the food today. Don't feel guilty about anything actually!

Sigh! Even the simplest things make me feel so lucky sometimes!
Don't remember the last time I just smiled to myself like this. It's really sweet...
I don't even care if it's obvious. Nothing wrong being happy (:

Hold the pose, a perfect picture, just so I remember how you're looking tonight...

Scrutiny

7/6

On the way to work, I commented how lousy some ads are, like those on vans and taxis. I guess the Brand Mastery course really made me very critical. Haha!

Meeting with Nut at Jurong Shipyard. The place looks really chaotic. Driving in, we were so afraid that the car was going to get scratched by all the moving. There isn't any proper path/road for vehicles. Saw so many cars in very bad shape due to sand-blasting. SCARY! No wonder he bought his own container with a remote-operated door and air condition for his hot bike. The bike... Really hot dammit! It's a huge ass bike. I think I have to be carried, or I'll never be able to get on it.
So back to the meeting...
Mummy said I have to learn what she does, how she gets clients etc. But! I cannot, because she has something which I don't. 20 years of experience in shipyards. And I just don't picture myself doing that. It's not my passion in life. I have my own dreams!!!!!! So what I learned yesterday was "I have a lot to learn!".

I had nothing to do at the office yesterday. Was insanely boring. To my relief, we left for Bukit Timah at around mid-afternoon to meet the landlady and agent. I bought a wonderful sub for my second lunch. Didn't expect to finish it, but was feeling extremely ravenous after the first bite. Jeremy and I then headed to Fairprice Finest (my favourite!) just to look at all the food! Unfortunately, I saw the Japanese ice cream section and couldn't resist, so shared a cone with my brother. I swear, that was the best cone ice cream I have ever tasted. The chocolate was so thick and rich and yummy yummy!

We waited for the meeting between Mummy and the agent to finish. It took way too long. When it was finally over, I thought I could finally go home. WRONG! I don't ever want to wait for someone who has rubber time. If a person, especially your business partner, cannot be punctual (I'm not talking about a few minutes late, more like an hour or more and sometimes not even turning up without informing), then it shows his character and work ethics. Seriously, would you want to have a partner like that? I left. I want nothing to do with people like that. Maybe that's why I am just so uninterested in that venture. Was so pissed off! Decided to take 961 back. Went to CWP to get some stuff. Track pants and unmentionables. Spent about $130 yesterday. Heartpain! The track pants are for ZFencing this Wednesday. I think I won't be training under the Elite team cos I have had 2 years of break. Honestly, I can't even remember whether the plastron goes on first without the wire. But oh man, how I love to fence. Really such an adrenaline rush. Best feeling! (:

Got home and worked out. Just about 40 minutes of cardio and resistance. Was late when I finally managed to have my dinner.

Food journal:
Breakfast:
Nestum
One glass oat milk

Lunch:
1 piece Fried chicken (hate the fact that it was fried!)
2 different types of vegetables
Teh Halia for upset stomach (worked like a charm)

Snack:
2 Marie biscuits
1 cheese ritz
1 cream cracker

2nd lunch:
Chicken terriyaki sub
Half cone chocolate ice cream

Dinner:
Tofu and chicken breast soup, extra spicy!
2 wedges papaya
2 oranges, squeezed

I think it's amazing how I am so aware of my food!

I got to wake up late again! It's been way too long! 11:30am.
Last night, stayed up for over an hour to talk to Mark about his erm... predicament. So I shared a little with him, gave him advice and insight into a girl's mind. Hope it helped. I just want him to be happy, you know! Also helped him edit his script. It's really good now, thanks to me! Haha! Language wise. Ask me to write you a story like that, I'll give it to you in a year's time (: That's why I never did essays like that in secondary school. I always chose argumentative! My favourite! And I really enjoyed GP (:

Hmmm... Thinking about what to do now. Workout? Can't be too shiong, if not I will ache too much and Fencing tomorrow will be jeopardised.
Will have to send out some parcels later too! Really lazy. And the weather really isn't helping! I just woke up not long ago but I feel like sleeping again ):

ANYWAY! I love this:

Diane Kruger in Jason Wu. I am loving Jason Wu!

I am a Brand Master! (:

After 3 tedious days of the BM course, I am now an official BM Graduate. 3 days, 12 hours each day. I made it! (:
I must say, this program really helped enlighten me. It's not a motivational course, where they tell you "You can do anything and everything!". It's in your face, down to earth, practical and a whole lot more. So the $3000 per person, definitely was a good deal! The value is so much more. I shall think of my action plan for my own venture! (: To those who laughed at me before... Just you wait and see! Haha!

It's so late now! Almost midnight and I have my first business meeting tomorrow morning at 10am! Extremely worn out from information overload and the long hours just sitting down. YES! Sitting down wears you out too! My tummy is feeling awful too from all the rich food the past 3 days. Maybe I'm just not used to eating like this anymore. Bigger meals, less frequent. Not good! Feeling terribly miserable! ):

Another day closer to Tuesday! Can't wait! (:

The day I got sick of Mazda6

Despite travelling here and there, then back here, then back there, I managed to squeeze in an hour of workout today, extra shiong, as I know I will be feeling crappy the next 3 days due to the lack of exercise. Feeling awfully lethargic and kinda worn out with all the travelling around today. I even knocked out in the showroom for a little while. He said I looked like I was about to die. Still, had to force myself. I hope my calves and quads ache like crap by tomorrow!

40 minutes Insanity Cardio Power & Resistance(Interval training, and really draining):
Power Jacks, Log Jumps, 123-123, Butt kicks, Vertical jumps, High knees, Stretches, Power Jumps, Belt kicks, V Push ups, Triceps dips (hurt like crap!), Hurdle jumps, Globe jumps, Moving push ups, Floor sprints, 8 Hop squats/8 push ups (1 minute).
20 minutes total ab work.

Dying. I wasn't born to jump! But feeling extremely accomplished today.

Wasn't able to make it for Sya's birthday dinner today. Ahhhhhh! Just so busy. And on BM course for the next 3 days, 12 hours! Gosh. My brain is being flooded with so much information these days. I don't think I'm thinking straight.

Food journal 3/6
Breakfast:
Scrambled eggs with cheese and toast
1 glass oat milk

Lunch (SIN! At The Pump Room):
Fried mushrooms (shit! so good)
Cheesy garlic bread ):
Chicken steak burger with bush pepper, rocket salad and fries! (AHHHHHHH!)

Dinner:
Vegetable, chicken breast and tofu soup. EXTRA chilli padi!
1 sweet potato

I also taste tested my brother and girlfriend's chocolate chip cookies and cookie dough. Oh man! The cookie dough is shiok! Sigh! I have love-hate relationship with food. Haha!
The next 3 days, food will be provided (all 3 meals)! I will see if I have any healthier choices. Hopefully there will be lots of vegetables and protein there! However, will definitely take my breakfast at home! I saw bananas in the kitchen! Hopefully some oatmeal again! I'm also craving for my peanut butter, nutella and banana creation.

Wish me good luck this weekend! It's gonna be a long one.

Will miss my special friend.... ):

Blessed

Another day at work... I'm sure my skin is getting worse again. And I'm running out of Estee Lauder. -GRUMBLE-

To MD, then RU, then In2. What a long day! Feeling really exhausted, mentally especially. I must say, trying to keep up with everything that is happening isn't easy. But I really shouldn't be complaining. I just have to get used to this and prepare myself for more to come. Looks like work till school starts, then more work while in school! Gosh... I hope I can cope.
I am learning a lot now. This is really good experience and training for me. I just have to keep thinking positively!

Feeling awfully shitty about my diet today. Guess the food is making me feel cranky and moody! Plus, no workout for me today! ): However, I never hiam lunch! The mere 30 minutes at lunch... Best 30 minutes of the day! (:

Food Journal 2/6

Breakfast:
Oatmeal and banana

Lunch:
One slice papaya
One slice pineapple

Second lunch:
Vegetarian burger (made of soy protein as 'meat', in between an organic bun)
Teh-O (best I've had!)
Tahu Goreng

Indulgence of the day:
4 ikan bilis kueh (so freaking good!)
1 tau sar pau

I really don't like eating like this. Just that I don't have time in the morning these few days to pack my own food! ): I'm missing my scrambled eggs and toast and tuna sandwiches. Notice I didn't even have dinner today?! Cos I've been eating these little little things every 2 hours. Shall just have milk for dinner!

Off to work again tomorrow I believe! Really need some sleep soon...

Never Gonna Be Alone

And now, as long as I can, I'm holding on with both hands.
Cos forever I believe that there's nothing I could need but you.
So if I haven't yet, I've gotta let you know...
You're never gonna be alone from this moment on.
If you ever feel like letting go, I won't let you fall.
When all hope is gone, I know that you can carry on.
We're gonna see the world out,
I'll hold you till the hurt is gone.

Beautiful (:

Bait

Headed to work today! CVs and contracts completed! I am highly efficient, this according to my mum. I don't self-praise :P
Had to head to Joo Koon Circle on a stupid errand again! I hate it when they don't give me details and I'm left to answer questions. How would I know when the flanges are arriving?! I don't even work there anymore! Gosh.
He tried to give me a ride back to the office. Argh! I don't like being in that office!
Good thing about work today? LUNCH! (:

Food Journal 1/6 (it's June already!)
Breakfast:
Nestum (had to have this in the car, on the way to work!)

Lunch:
Pan fried fish (I think)
Cauliflower, carrots and celery

Tea:
1 masala thosai from Ananda Bhavan

Dinner:
Chicken breast
Spinach and mushrooms (leftovers from dinner last night!)
Freshly squeezed orange juice. Lots of pulp and fibre thrown in. Never drink those from cartons. THEY SUCK!

Indulgence of the day:
4 cream crackers! (got too hungry waiting for lunch!)

I think it will be more work for me tomorrow. First to MD in the morning then RU in the afternoon! I have a meeting next Monday! Don't really want to go, but my mum figured chances will be much higher if I do. Guess there's no escaping him :/
Really stressed just thinking about all the work I have lined up for me. I've only barely started. I will have to learn to juggle my studies, work and relationship! But it's all going to be worth it one day! I know! So why not just work hard now?! (:
Was feeling awfully stressed on the way home, with mum shouting (never have I heard her shout at someone outside family this way before) over the phone in the car. Sometimes, being nice doesn't bring you anywhere. People just climb all over you. It sucks. Went for a nice, hard run to cool off. Sure helped! (:

30 minute run (slowed down by extremely tight calf muscles!)
3 sets bicycle abs, 20 reps
More work on ass!
Lots of stretching!
Total: 55 minutes
Tired shit now...
