I got such a big surprise when I checked my email today:
Dear Madelene,
Thank you for coming down for the interview.
We are pleased to inform you that you have been selected to be our Marketing head.
Kindly revert to us by 30th August 2010 2359h if you wish to take up the position.
It will be an honour to have you on the team and help make a difference in Project Sunshine 2011!
We look forward to your favourable reply.
Best Regards,
Project Sunshine 2011
This is gonna be such a good experience for me! I have never done marketing before though! So I have to learn and execute at the same time. I hope my partner can help me. Will be so funny. Head of Marketing doesn't really know how to market. I must have really impressed at the interview huh :P I haven't been to many interviews before, so I was a little nervous about it. I've only been to the Korea summer exchange interview and OGL interview before I think. Haha! I always wanted to work somewhere other than Maersk, but never got the chance because my mummy won't let me! It's ok, it was a good time at Maersk, though I got fat and weighed 49kg at one time :/ Now I'm back to 45.5kg. Great! I am very happy to weigh this much (:
Have been mugging my business law since afternoon! Really so interesting! But of course, when it comes to exams... I heard most people are screwed. But I have a wonderful LTB TA who offered me his mugging notes, which are apparently very useful! I am really starting to like this TA! Haha! I think it's bias, cos he is Fencing captain. I am gonna fence tomorrow! Shall bring my Fencing shoes along. But will only be able to start Fencing after Muay Thai. Hope not too shag after training!
Took a little break from mugging for a workout. I swear I haven't ran this well in a long time!
2.4km run
3 X 20 pushups (SORE! Not used to doing this)
2 X 20 bicycle crunches (I love this move, makes me ache everytime!)
I think I should be fully recovered in a day or two (:
Food journal 29/8
Brunch:
1 banana
1 slice toast with scrambled egg
Lunch:
1 slice toast with chilli tuna (PEDAS!)
1 orange
Fishy oranges indeed (: Haha
Pre-workout snack:
1 slice toast with nutella and peanut butter
1 cup green tea
Apparently studies show that drinking green tea before workout burns more fat right?! Haha. I wish la.
Dinner:
Tofu, sweet potato, peanut, cabbage soup
Stir fried spicy lean pork with green pepper, potato, carrots and peas
EXCELLLENT!
Erik gave me chocolate! (: Nice ex-boss I have (:

I am feeling slightly better after 10 hours of sleep. Not so drowsy anymore. Maybe I should have taken some medication instead of insisting on self-receovery. Haha. But it's alright. I am better now (:
I hate it how PHSTAT can't be installed on Mac's OS. Now I have to install Bootcamp and partition the OS. Crap la. I love my Mac lor. After I've started using my MBP, I finally understand why people say once you start using Mac, you never want to use Windows again. Especially not Vista, which my other laptop is running on. At least Windows 7 is decent. And aesthetic wise, it kinda looks like Mac too. But of course, not better. I love how my MBP starts up in under 20 seconds or so. I don't even have to wait to open Safari. On Windows, it lags. All hail Mac! :D
Did my Intro Stats work today. Ok, getting more familiar with PHSTAT. But still have much to learn. I need to consult some year 2s soon! Attempting to study Biz Law now. Interesting stuff, though sometimes it really requires me to reread certain paragraphs. Still not that used to all the jargon.
I need to start brainstorming for CT. Idea journal. Who has any bright ideas?! My mind is devoid of them ): I need to be a child again, when my creativity juices were really flowing! Or, I could consult my younger cousins. Shall see what wacky ideas they have. Like they say, CT is all about fluff! (:
Food journal 28/8
Bruncht:
1 tuna sandwich
1/2 glass oatmilk with cornflakes (:
I think people think I'm weird cos I don't eat my tuna with mayo. Just the dry one. Still tastes good to me!
Snack:
1 cup coffee
Handful cashew nuts
Lunch:
Chicken breast with mushrooms and peas
Dinner:
Chicken breast, tofu, cabbage, peanut, sweet potato, carrots in soup!
1 cup green tea
I really need to control my diet. Especially since school started, the amount I pack to school isn't sufficient to last me the entire day. Sometimes I have to eat out, which is usually at the Kopitiam. I try to take soupy stuff, like yong tau fu, fish soup, kimchi soup. Nothing fried. Between lessons, it's usually Mr Bean or a pao/dimsum-ish stuff from Koufu. Don't particularly enjoy eating this way ): Miss home cooked food too. I don't really know how people can eat out almost everyday! It all feels too oily!
I know I need to control my diet! I have the tendency to just eat whatever is put in front of me. So tempting!
Wanna recover quick and get back to working out more often! Wanna go stadium soon too. At least now I have confirmed 2 lessons of muay thai a week, 2 hours each time (: I like (:

27/8
It was really a torture waking up today. My throat felt really bad, much worse than it did at the beginning of the week. Must be the result of sleeping 4-6 hours per day this entire week. Really compromising my recovery. I need to sleep! Shall do so today, though might be sleeping late. I really wanna complete some work. And settle that damn PHSTAT installation. Bootcamp ): Damn slow.
Had Creative Thinking project meeting. We're supposed to come out with a performance using sound/movement to illustrate what we think creativity is. I think our idea is pretty novel. But because I left early, my group very conveniently gave me a very shitty role. "Am I too dirty? Am I too flirty?" WTF :/ How the hell am I gonna act that out?! Not like they care.
Had my OCIP interview today. I think it went fine but... They're looking for 17 people out of a pool of 67 people? Hmm, I wonder if I will make it. And we all signed up in hopes that most of us will get selected and we can go together. So fun. Anyway, I think I am moderately experienced in CSP. Under Project Sunshine, we will be visiting a village in Laos to educate the villagers in the English language, as well as to build a well and refurbish the village school. I remember in AC's Interact Club, I had to do CIP at an after-school care centre. The kids there were from broken families, troubled. They really took it out on us. And most of them have ADD. It wasn't easy at all teaching them. Sometimes I dreaded going there each week. They also made me handle the most difficult kid there cos the lady thought that I was good at disciplining him compared to other volunteers. Honestly, I was quite afraid of him. He was rude, he was violent. But the day I heard that he passed his PSLE, I was really overwhelmed by emotions. So people, don't call me NO LOVE. I am an emotional creature at times ok?! The experience was unforgettable. It will be much more work, and I would need to dedicate more time on other things other than my studies, but I think it'll be worth it (: Yup, it will definitely be!
I can't wait for Muay Thai again next week! And if I'm free on Friday, I might head down to free fence. Didn't do so today cos was feeling so so sick in the day. But after my mini workout just now, I feel slightly better already.
2 X 20 push ups
8 x 20s/10s squats
4 X 20 bicycle crunches
Mmm, how coincidental is it that my TA for LTB is Fencing captain?! I guess my only reservation about joining the school team now is that SMU only offers Epee, and I am a true blue foilist! Yes, Epee is easier in many ways. Target area is nearly doubled, no need to parry risposte to get points. But I really love foil. I think the extra restrictions in the rules make it much more challenging, and therefore, fun! I wanna catch a Fencing competition soon! Shall ask my TA when the next one is (:
Competitive Muay Thai? I think Muay Thai is the thing for me now. But I will see how it goes, maybe I will choose to do it competitively rather than just a casual kinda thing in school. I have "violent" tendencies. HAHA!
Food journal 27/8
Breakfast:
Scrambled eggs and toast
1 glass soya milk
Lunch:
1 glass oatmilk
1 cheese pancake from Mr Bean
Pre-workout snack:
Half glass oatmilk with cornflakes (can't resist cornflakes! unsweetened of course)
1 slice toast with nutella
Dinner:
Chicken breast and dou miao, carrots tortilla!

Bash
2 words. Zouk sucks.
Another 2 words. Bash sucks.
Waste time, waste money. Only good company.
So many skanks and guys who think they are damn hot. Omg, they really cannot make it la!
We left 2315, headed to coffee shop for a drink then shared cab home! Think our faci must think we are damn boring. When I said goodbye, he asked me to drink. NOOOOO. I don't drink man. My body is like a temple, a sanctuary! Anyway, alcohol sucks!
I really need to sleep! I've got OCIP interview. Suddenly, I don't feel too keen on it :/
What a long, long day! ):

Thai-Style Wednesday
Started my day early today with Intro Stats in the morning. I need to get used to morning classes! Or maybe it's just Stats. The Prof isn't really good :/ Hectic, hectic day! Right after Stats, we had our final TWC presentation meeting which lasted all the way to TWC lesson itself! No proper food ): Mr Bean twice. Really the lack of good, nutritious, healthy food around here! And I didn't pack enough ):
TWC presentation was scary. The Q&A session was vicious. The audience, merciless. So jian la! Some people I really felt like whacking them already. Talk so much. Wait till my turn to grill you!!!!! ARGH.
I just got home from Muay Thai and dinner (or rather, supper). MUAY THAI IS FREAKING FUN. Just whack la. I mean, of course there are proper techniques. But so much of it is similar to Fencing, so I think I am picking up on it pretty quickly.
My favourite move we learned today was the kneeing. Shiok. Jess and I decided that we wanted to "whack" a guy instead. FUN. Really! And everyone in my group was shocked. Like how can someone my size have so much brute force huh. They said I have pent up rage and some issues to be resolved. Haha! So shy. But seriously... I really put everything into it. I am really interested in it! (:
I had to put my arms on that guys shoulders. Sweat... Haha! So weird la. I just saw him in TWC before that!
MARTIAL MAYHEM! (: Looking forward. It's so Ninja Warrior :D
It's 0140 now. Nice. Waking up at 0615. Tomorrow there's Bash. Whole group is going, but I am leaving early. Just hang with my friends and then, home sweet home! I need to sleep! Haven't been sleeping too well, only max 6 hours per day for the past 3 days. I'm glad I get to sleep in on Friday! But Friday, I have to head to school for my OCIP interview. Malcolm says I sure can make it. Ha! YEAH. But I don't quite feel like going if the majority of the others from my FTB group don't make it. Anyway, I am not doing this for CSP hours la. I don't need so many hours. I already have 60 maybe?
Ok, really really need to sleep now. My voice is getting "sexier" by the day.

22/8
Everyone seems to be falling ill these few days. Feeling shitty , and it's only week 1 in school.
I really have to be more optimistic, instead of thinking the worst of things.
I have my name tent idea. It's stupid, but it will suffice.
I really feel like going down for muay thai tomorrow evening, but I don't think I should overexert myself when I'm stIll incapable of walking straight now. Guess I just want an outlet to vent my frustrations of late. Some people are really getting to me. But that's life, you meet and have to work with people who don't work on the same principles as you do.
First week of school and I already know who are the ones who will do anything to get ahead of the game. I both admire and detest them. I wish I had as much drive, but I'm certainly not as self-centred as they are. You won't get that far being mean to people.
I feel it coming. I guess I just know. Sometimes I wish I didn't.
Don't call me crazy, cos God, You told me. And You've always protected my heart.
I know what's the right thing to do now. And I know it will be ok (:
And I will always be here.
Don't make me hold on when you're not...

At home.
Sick.
Cold sweat.
Can't sleep although I really want to.
I need to revise.
I need to do that bloody name tent.
It's not a good day.
Please, nobody get on my nerves today, alright?
And I will never know anyone more fucking irresponsible than you...
One of the hardest things in life is having words in your heart that you can't utter.

First day of school (17/8)
Unlike most people, my first day of school was today, not yesterday. I was really nervous going for my first lesson, which was Creative Thinking. I must say, it's pretty intimidating. EVERYONE IS DYING TO CLASS PART. SHIT.
I had a really interesting CT lesson, followed by Business Law. Some of my friends who took biz law yesterday said it's really dry and they were struggling to stay awake during class. Hmmm, strangely, I kinda enjoyed it. I think the prof is really funny (at times) too. Come on, the guy wrote the damn book, he knows his stuff. I'm happy I got preassigned a good lecturer. Gotta make full use of this opportunity.
My bag is so heavy. Damn. Carry wallet, food, water bottle, charger, 'beauty bag', iTouch, handphone, cards PLUS laptop and textbooks. Damn those textbooks la. ARGH. One more tomorrow for LTB. It's an even longer day for me tomorrow. Morning lesson followed by afternoon lesson till 6:45pm. By the time I reach home, it will be close to 8:30pm. I can't workout cos I will be too hungry! DAMMIT! I'm really in such a foul mood today ):
Food journal 17/8
Breakfast:
1 piece weetbix with oatmilk and almonds
1 bowl papaya
Lunch:
7 piece YTF
Snack 1:
Tuna sandwich
Snack 2:
Egg sandwich
Dinner:
Chicken breast with carrots, cashew nuts and dried chilli
Vegetables, mushroom

I snacked a little. Took a bite of some peppermint chocolate cake and ate half a tau sar piah! Moody = snack!
I hope there are still slots for SMUX night biking. Wanna sign up with Bondue friends if possible. Next week I shall go for OCIP interview too. Project Sunshine (: I don't really need the hours, since I am close to completing my 80 hours, but why not? I want to help however I can.

14/8 - 15/8
14/8
We hung out at Scape for The Click Five showcase. I think we waited for nearly an hour. Fortunately, the crowd wasn't that big. The Click Five, obviously, ain't no Backstreet Boys! :D

I don't think anyone can really deny that The Click Five's live shows are really good. To me, that makes a good band. It doesn't matter how nice your songs sound like on CD. We all know that things can be altered in the production process. But to hear a band live and for them to sound really as good as they do on the CD... That's the best thing.
I got their autograph! The queue was freaking long but fortunately, the guys were so efficient. Or rather, security was pulling the girls along rather efficiently.
I think we stood for almost 6 hours. My legs were tired... Was it worth it? Hmm... Debatable.
15/8
I had to wake up bright (sky wasn't bright) and early (in my books) today for the driving orientation course. 6:15am. Was so tired I wasn't aware I switched my alarm off. Luckily I woke up on my own 15 minutes later! Was so sleepy. I was starting to zone out on the expressways. I spent the whole of last night, until like... almost 2am, trying to look for my textbooks! And as of now, I have only managed to find... 2? TWC from Danny and Stats from some other guy. Oh man... And I just found out that I have to read 3 chapters from the biz law textbook before my lesson ): Maybe I will end up going to school tomorrow then ):
The course was pretty useful. Of course, I roughly knew how to park. Just that I didn't dare to try it with my mummy's car. And definitely not in the very tight parking spaces in the multi-storey carpark beside my place. Damaging her car is one thing. Damaging other people's car is another :/ But ok la... Pretty easy to park. Think I have some sense. I shall be one with my future Volkswagen (Pronounced as Volksvagen! Get it right!) Beetle.
Spent the entire afternoon looking for more sellers. STILL NO REPLY! ): All the replies have been, "Sorry, sold!"
Although I was feeling really sleepy, I decided that I should really just push myself and workout anyway. Sistar Sya joined me for circuit training at Woodlands stadium. I walked all the way there from my place! 20 minute walk...
Warm up: 400m jog
1st round: 20 air squats, 10 burpees
2nd round: 20 air squats, 10 jumping pullups
3rd round: 10 burpees, 10 jumping pullups, 60s plank
4 X 100m sprints
approx. 80m walking lunges
400m cool down
Walk home again!
Was a really good workout I felt. Am already sore from the pullups and lunges in particular. The sprints today were really good. Sya said it looked like I was on Red Bull. I just got more energetic (:
Am really enjoying circuit training! I wanna be strong and fit! :D I don't wanna see cellulite anymore!
I am not skinny. Skinny is offensive! I believe in having an athletic body, which is by far, to me, the most attractive body of all. Hmmm, good good! I shall be on my way...
Food journal 15/8

It's really not easy sticking to a good, clean diet at home too sometimes! Not when my mum loves buying all sorts of junk ): Why does junk food taste so gooooood?!
Old fashioned cakes from probably the best bakery in Singapore. Balmoral at Sunset Way. So hard to resist!

12/8 - 13/8
12/8
I popped by school to patronise the gym. Let me get this straight. I don't enjoy going to the gym, but I haven't been working out since Bondue and I feel terrible! I felt like going for a run, but I'm not too keen running during the Seventh Month because I assumed people might be burning...
2.4km run
8 rounds 20s/10s squats
Had lunch at Kopitiam with Hann Khee and Daniel. Yong tau fu. I am now armed with my Kopitiam card, which entitles me to 10% off. Seven ingredients for $3.30? Pretty cheap for a meal out in my opinion. Yong tau fu's always good (: Tragically, we went to Starbucks for a caffeine fix and I indulged in a green tea latte. I don't quite like it. I shall stick to my original matcha next time. I hate calorie-laden drinks!

I sat down at Starbucks after Daniel left for a little longer to read my book. I still haven't finished the damn book. Don't get me wrong! It's an excellent one - Beautiful People by Wendy Holden. I just find myself so preoccupied with other things, I hardly get the chance to really sit down and focus purely on reading the past week or two. It's a 700 page long book, and I'm sure many people haven't read a book that thick for quite some time now.
I moved to SOE's Mr Bean for a drink (less sugar!) and also to read. I didn't want to head home before my outing with my FTB mates. Met up with Weijoe, HTHT-ed for a bit at Pick & Bite, then walked down to Somerset. Good talk! (:
We had a Thai buffet nearby. Wasn't so impressed with the service but some of the dishes were pretty good. I just wished they were less oily and had more greens. But I guess, it was good company and good fun with my friends from FTB. I think some of them went off for supper or a movie? I really wanted to get home and get some sleep. I wouldn't have the luxury of sleeping in again ):
13/8
I attended the library workshop at Li Ka Shing Library with Hann Khee and Marissa. I was late! Damn Circle Line! I had to wait for seven minutes for the train. Then again, it's sort of my fault too cos I love Bras Basah MRT too much. I could've just stopped at City Hall or something. I love Bras Basah station because it's underground and linked directly to SMU. And it's conveniently placed such that the walk to SOA/LKCSB isn't too far either. PLUS, no sweating under the sun!
The library training was useful of course. I didn't quite enjoy the atmosphere in the training room though! Everyone was so... quiet and afraid to answer the questions posed. That made me feel uncomfortable and reluctant to speak up too. But eventually I just did, because I wanted to get the free post-it notes and most importantly, I wanted the training session to end quickly so I could have lunch and configure my MBP.
Marissa, Hann Khee, Weijoe and I had lunch at Republic of Steak. I had some grilled fish with herbs and a baked potato and steamed brocolli as sides. I have to say the serving is pretty generous, compared to like... Char Grill Bar. And Republic of Steak doesn't have service charge etc, so the price you see on the menu is the price you pay ultimately. It didn't feel sinful afterwards either! Good stuff! There's really good food all around SMU! I've got to get those soy tarts from that cafe soon too (:
Marissa, Weijoe and I went to CIT to configure our laptops. Gosh, it took some time. I still haven't installed Bootcamp. I'm not sure it's necessary either. Shall ask around!
Didn't go for Starring outing to Sentosa then Vivo today. I am seriously so so so PMS-ing. I've been feeling shit low the entire day. I hardly feel like moving, much less speaking too much. But I am glad for these new friends who really brighten up my day too.
I had a horrible journey home! My shoulder was aching under the immense weight of my handbag which was stuffed with my laptop and my usual knick-knacks. Since secondary school, people have been telling me that I have the inability of packing and that I am carrying stones wherever I go ):
Decided to workout, probably for the last time this week. I guess feeling a little down and stressed makes me want to workout even more. If I really am joining muay thai then when I get to sparring and kicking I will really go all out too.
"Staircase suicides", 6 levels
2.4km run
Run up 6 levels
8 rounds 20s/10s squats
2 X 16 bicycle crunches
4 X 30s one-legged planks
20 pushups
Tomorrow, Peiyi and I shall be at Scape watching the Click Five perform. They really do look different now!
BEFORE

AFTER

I used to be obsessed with Kyle! He looks more grown up now. Joey looks like Josh Harnett (to py!). Definitely scruffier. But scruff like that isn't really my thing. I still prefer the clean cut boyish look! You know who you are! (:
Ethan looks like he lost a considerable amount of weight! I preferred his look before, from "Greetings from Imrie House". He was my favourite before Kyle came into the picture! Joe and Ben... Well, they look the same!
I am definitely not as crazy about them as I was before. I remember I was heartbroken when I had to study for my History 'O' Levels and they were on 987. I wanted to go for their concert, but my mum didn't allow me to go for concerts then ): So sad ):
Ok la. Honestly, I'm not so into them any longer. But that could change tomorrow! We'll see.
We're in a spell that never ends
The empty hourglass wore me thin
So let the phone do its work
Your voice is heaven but it hurts
Your words are memories but they burn
Baby, just say goodnight, I'll be gone tomorrow
Baby, just close your eyes, I can't take the sorrow
Baby, just walk away, you know I can't stay
There's no easy way to say goodbye
So baby, just say goodnight...

C2!
I remember the initial dread of having to go for Bondue. I was complaining and was all whiney after having heard of all the 'mischief' that occurred during the first run. I didn't even pack my things until Friday morning, the day of camp. I had already met most of my group on Wednesday during my pre-camp dinner at Marche. They all seemed nice and decent people, and it really helped that Marissa from my Starring group was also in the same Bondue group as I was. So I guess I was looking forward to camp, until that moment Saddad shared his experience at run one with me :/
DAY 1
We finally met the missing few from our pre-camp lunch. The group was so garang from the start. We were the noisiest, most crazy group there for sure! We won all but one game. We cheered and got almost maximum bonus points each station too. It's really great to have groups like this! I had the same experience too at FTB. Really lucky I am!
We played musical chairs with condiments and flour, frisbee with peanut butter, scissors paper stone on chairs with toothpaste (ass felt really cool!) and other really stupid but fun, humorous games. In one, we had to stick our head into the 'toilet bowl' and fish inside with our mouths for Honey Stars, nata de coco and all sorts of 'delicious' things. I think they put chocolate milk in it. It looked terrible!
In the end, the C section (sounds like caesarean section!) won and we got to shower first. The losing section had to clean up Campus green and shower last. We were so lucky! Even as one of the first few groups from the section to shower, the toilet in the gym was already flooded because the mud and sand was clogging up all the drains.
After dinner, we had a prelude to Vegas Night. We got to play Blackjack and all, not my kinda thing. I was excited for Fright Night which would follow! They played some stupid movie called "Amusement" which really wasn't very amusing. "Paranormal Activity" was slightly more interesting. The ending was kinda gruesome :/ We were either paired up or grouped into threes. The braver ones went in pairs. That's me by the way :P They made us sit in this holding room with red lights. It reminded me of those pictures of child prostitutes being held captive. Not good. Anyway, when it was our turn, we were blindfolded and led down the hallway to three different rooms. The first room was f-ing scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I must certainly compliment the make-up artists. I 'screamed' once when the ghost jumped out of the fake wall while we were counting the number of faces on the 'wall'. Lucky Jiawei grabbed me! I might have hit the ghost! Haha. The third room wasn't scary at all. In fact it was quite funny. I knew the dead body would grab my leg once I entered the tunnel. In fact, I was asking for it cos when I asked Ben, who's in the sub-com whether the dead body is supposed to do it, he said no! Haha! I also had to say don't steal my slipper! I was kicking at it when it tried to. So funny la these ghosts! I am afraid of clowns! But the clowns in the rooms weren't that scary. I even told one of them that she looked so cute, like Pikachu :P
DAY 2
We had another Amazing Race! I personally do not enjoy Amazing Races. We had our faces painted in Chinatown. We even had our lunch with the face paint on. People kept staring and laughing at us. But it sure helps to have 14 other people looking like idiots too. The most fun parts were doing the stupid 'fillers' for bonus points. One was to go into a MacDonald's and ask how much a McMurtabak cost. Another was to ask the control station guy how long was the journey to Korea. The funniest one was to ask a cashier at a convenience store how much was the iPad in the fridge cos the cashier heard it as 'ice pack' and asked whether we wanted small, medium or large! Should've replied 32GB or something :P
We had to prepare for a skit too. Luckily, this time I wasn't involved. We played 'Pig'. I'm so good at this game! Haha.
Skit and stage games was after dinner at the auditorium. Jiaxing tried to sabo me. He said since I love dancing so much :/ Fortunately I wasn't so dumb as to fall for his trick.
When we got back to the SR after stage games, we played Monopoly Deal. Ha! This game is so fun! I wanna buy a set too! I HTHT-ed awhile with Hann Khee a.k.a Hunky. Actually not HTHT, more like gossiped. Our facis looked so sian. I guess we're not as happening as their run 1 group. All so guai, non-drinkers/clubbers :P
Eventually, we did play some drinking games like 'The Circle of Death' and 'I Never'. Of course, we didn't take neat shots la. Only a few did towards the end :/ By that time, I'd stopped, wanting so badly to sleep. That was around 2am! There was some puking in the ladies' toilet, 'clubbing' in the SR next door... Really not my thing. My faci was wondering why I was so sober after about 3 hours of games. It's not because of AC culture! I didn't even fit into that! Haha. Six of us slept in a row at the back of the SR at about 3:30am, while the other group in the SR and some of our own continued with their games and were so noisy! I thought I wouldn't be able to sleep, but I did, and really quickly! Must have been the mixes.
DAY 3
The six of us woke up at around 7:30am to go out for breakfast. The school was so quiet. People must have been so smashed! Jiayi and I had kaya toast with eggs and coffee/tea while the rest indulged in BK breakfast! When we were finished at Toast Box, we returned to BK and found that all but 2 of C2 were there having breakfast. I think the group is really filled with good drinkers. Haha! When we returned to school at 9:45am, hardly anyone was awake other than the organising committee who was there expecting people for breakfast at that time. We were the only group! (:
I can't believe we didn't win best group! But I bet we were close, maybe second. The best group got iPod Shuffles. Shuffle only but there's a potential for selling it. Don't know who would buy one now though, in the presence of iTouch and iPhones...
We packed up and chitchatted for awhile before leaving. I guess we will meet for paintball soon. Might be meeting for library workshop and laptop configuration too! Nice people! I really enjoyed Bondue! (: I'm glad I decided to go :D
It's time to catch up on some lost sleep. Am really sleep deprived and feeling dehydrated from constant trips to the toilet. Must be PMS-ing badly! ):
This week is Convocation and numerous outings!
The Click Five this Saturday maybe? But I rather miss that to see someone else (:

Bondue
Just got back from Bondue and Starring's Starlight not too long ago. Am really exhausted. I need to make up for the lack of sleep from the last 2 nights at Bondue. I honestly was not expecting to have so much fun. But I did, and it feels really nice to have met another wonderful group of people. Our group's really different, and I'm really happy about that too. HUAT AH! Haha (: Good stuff.
I gotta get back to my workouts again. I feel so extremely nua. And I ate kaya toast for breakfast and pizza and more cookies/pastries/cakes for dinner (provided by Starring). I successfully avoided rice at Bondue though! Happy about that (:
Shall elaborate more on Bondue soon. Am really requiring some proper shut eye without the cacophony of tipsy people talking nonsense till 5am. Haha! Goodnight (: I need my beauty sleep!

4/8
Met up with my Bondue group today at Marche for pre-camp lunch. For the first time, I can remember everyone's names! Haha (: Pretty lucky to have 2 other AC girls and my fellow Starring group mate with me too. Hope it's fun at camp this Friday. My facis for sure will try to get me to stay for Bondue, but I really feel like running off to Faithfully Yours on Saturday. And if I stay throughout for Faithfully Yours, which ends at 11pm apparently, there's really no point in me going back to camp cos the third day is just wake up, clean up, awards then I'll be free by noon! I guess I'll see how it goes. And if it's too "happening", I will leave (:
So far so good! The people seem very decent. Hope we can all click, it'll make it less painful!
I had the roasted chicken crepe at Marche, was pretty good. Second time having it, and it's still as delicious as I remembered it to be. Could use some spice though! Or maybe it's just me la. I need my chilli. I took Daniel's chilli from his pizza, but it wasn't spicy! Cos it's not chilli padi, no kick :P
Marissa, Daniel and I decided to walk around after the lunch. I wasn't about to just go home so soon since I made it down all the way to town. We walked to Ion, Forum, then back to Orchard. I had the awesome Japanese red bean pancake from the basement of Ion, along with Japanese Maccha as a drink. Really good stuff. Worth the calories :P
No workout for me today! Doesn't look like anymore workouts this week! ): Tomorrow will be Starring again until 7pm if we stick to the schedule. We will be having our final practice for the flashmob tomorrow. Hope I pick it up quick! I keep forgetting the sequence of the steps ):

It was a day spent painting banners as part of Starring SMU. I think the banners turned out pretty good! Especially the word "HOPE", since I drew and painted it! Heh (: I've got skills in writing and painting :P
We chiong-ed painting and left for lunch and a movie at PS. Watched "Street Dance". It was pretty cool. Makes me wanna join E-mix leh. I've always loved dance, though I may not necessarily be the best dancer out there. Still... Feels good dancing!
Got home early, so it was another day of working out (:
My laptop couldn't play the Insanity video, so I just went for sprints again.
5min jog, 8 rounds 20s/10s sprints, 5min jog
"Staircase suicides", 6 levels
8 X 20s/10s air squats
Food journal 3/8
Breakfast:
2 pieces weetbix with oatmilk, banana and almonds
I find this an amazing breakfast combination! (:
1 cup Mr Bean Soya milk from SOE
I'm really happy that Mr Bean is so accessible now! Soy ice cream? :D
Lunch:
BBQ chicken + rice
I hate eating out cos there are just so few options for me and rice is sometimes inevitable ):
Dinner:
1 bowl papaya with lime
1 bowl vegetable and prawn soup

Wow, time is really flying now! Soon, BOSS Window 1 will be up, and we will all be busy agonizing over it! I pretty much decided what to bid for, but still looking for people to bid with! I am really lucky though. I got reasonably popular, good profs for my preassigned courses, at least according to my faci. I really hope so. This uni thing is still so new to me, since I'm the first of my generation in the family to get into uni. I can't ask my aunts for advice, cos I'm sure things have changed significantly in the pass decade or two! I must say, Ben really enlightened me on BOSS today! I will probably be taking Business Law, LTB, Stats, Creative Thinking and BGS in Sem 1 (:
Was in school for the LKCSB Talk today. They informed us that it's LKCSB and not SOB, cos SOB is like... you know... Son of a bitch. Haha! Nah! I will still call it SOB. In fact, I will be at SOB tomorrow for Starring in the morning, then I'm off to Muhammadiyah Welfare Home for CSP! I am really enjoying the company of my Starring SMU peeps! In fact, I am lucky I haven't met the sort I will never hang out with at either camp. Hope it remains that way even after Bondue :/ Will be meeting the Bondue group over lunch at Marche this Wednesday. I guess I should start to know more people! After all, these people will probably end up as my project, CCA mates etc. I was never good at making friends! :(
Mummy has agreed to let me join Muay Thai, cos it's indoor. Haha! So probably Fencing at Z and Muay Thai. But I have to see if I can juggle everything or not! Will be pretty packed if I do everything!
Ate lots of junk today! Not good.
Food journal 2/8
Breakfast:
2 pieces weetbix with oatmilk, 1 banana and handful of almonds
2nd breakfast (which was so sinful!)
1 eclair
1 curry puff
1/2 ham sandwich (Damn those refreshments after the acad briefing!)
Kimchi soup + RICE (horrors!)
Dinner:
Chicken breast with egg tofu
Mushroom
1 orange
1 cup green tea
More indulgences:
1 slice pandan chiffon cake
1 chocolate chip cookie
I really outdid myself today sia. Haha!
I attempted to work a lil of it off with sprints for today's workout. However, an upset tummy + stitch during my warm up jog really killed me. Am upset, cos I knew I could've done much better if I wasn't suffering so much!
5min jog
8 rounds 20s/10s sprints
5min jog
Ran up 6 stories, then,
8 rounds 20s/10s air squats
3 X 16 bicycle crunches
Then I practiced my flashmob dance. Haha! Nice stuff.
Should really sleep now! Tomorrow will be a long day and will probably be having dinner out again! Which means no workout! ):
Hectic!
