CLICK

The Modern Minds and Great Times World Tour is coming to Singapore this 1st June.

From their official website:
In the interest of all of our beloved fans in these wonderful places, we are obliged to urge you to please start getting plenty of rest and take your vitamins. Those who attend these concerts will be rocked like you have never been rocked before...so please consider yourself warned. The Click Five in their first ever headlining arena shows...are you kidding? The guys are absolutely going to melt your faces off!

I love these guys. No. Not the original Click Five but the new one. With Kyle as frontman. Their songs actually mean something now. Not "Hey girl, I wanna catch your wave." What's that mean? Their songs actually have some depth now and I love them! I remember how disappointed I was last year when they came because I couldnt go for the concert they were opening for BEP. And the MOS thing. Crap. I had to study for the O levels and I remember it was the history paper I had to study for. I stayed up all night listening to 987 cos they promised they would be on "soon". But I waited for an hour patiently. Although they weren't on for long, it was really nice. I was in bed smiling cos they were really funny playing stupid games and drinking Tiger on air. It's on Podcast. =) I still listen to it.

Fans of The Click Five, if you haven't watched their "documentary", "The Band Behind the Band" on Youtube, you should be ashamed of yourself. TSK.

Anyone interested in the concert please drop me a message or call. =)

=) or =(

Between being happy =) or being sad =( , angry =( and frustrated =( , I choose =)

This past week has been turd. There was the day all the teachers blew up at us. Was it our fault, you ask. Yes, indeed it was. We do not give our teachers the respect they deserve. We do not do our homework ( I do not deny this fact), we continue talking despite the teachers' repeated efforts to get us to shut our traps, we talk rudely to the teachers etc. I sincerely do not wish to get scolded by Mr Ho again. He does not sound angry. He sounds disappointed - and disappointment is no better than anger. So... What can we do to rectify this? The answer is simple. Do the opposite of what I mentioned above. And you know what? Poor Room 5.12. Yes, it is true her "so therefore"s make me laugh but have you guys noticed how she's always alone? Must we always talk about her like she's some "sounds like itch but starts with a B"?

No.

When it's time to be serious and study, we must. At least I will. I will try my best... =)

Then, the fact that I'm the heaviest I've ever been. 45kg =( Please bear in mind that I'm only 5'1 =( However, I don't seem to have gained any fat anywhere. Do you really think I'm toning up? Muscle denser than fats? Oh, how i hope so. Meanwhile, I've gotta stick to my "exercise routine" and continue eating good, not-excessively-fatty, healthy yet yummy food. BUT, nothing comes between me and my chocolates.

Then again, there's so much to smile about.
You make me smile =) =) =) =) =) =) A smile I've never smiled before. Happier than when Peiyi sees Momo or Reb when she sees LCR.

Lovely =)

YAY for you =) Ok peiyi, i have to say, I really admire you. It's like...You complete all your work, blog alot, have time to go out etc. My my...I could never do the things you do. peifu, peifu =) I'm happy for you. Cos you get to see your dear dear MOMO during so many breaks. There are smilies all over your timetable.

ok. no time to waste. Physics time =( =( =( Physics rep must do physics tutorial. Forget what I said like a month ago about Room 5.12 liking me. I think she despises our class now. Despise the class = despise me too. =(

Update

Since it was Kenny's birthday yesterday and he asked me for an update, I shall. It started raining heavily so we couldnt leave college for Anchor Point. We had a good time though. Just chatting and laughing, pen-spinning and freezing =) At about 5+ we finally left school. Rain is wonderful in my opinion =) HA! The only bad thing was I needed the toilet desperately so once I got off the bus I ran for it.

I know Andrea wasnt feeling well. Get well soon babe! We had dinner at Jack's Place to celebrate Kenny Yap's birthday. Andrea didnt finish her food =( Meanwhile Canida and I finished an entire pizza. What an appetite eh? Someone forgot to tell Nat that we werent going to PS anymore and she went all the way there to find out that we werent there. =( That must have sucked. I asked Kenny how he felt that we "didnt" get him anything for his birthday and he went "Of course hurt la." Fooled you chic-KEN. But it's just the shirt right? haha! That's what you think.

After dinner I went over to Queensway to get a bigger size for my shoe and everyone followed me! I felt pretty bad cos it was late. =( Anyway, I got there to find out that somehow, the stocks for my pink nike-s will never come again. And I'm too impatient to even try waiting any longer. So I exchanged my beloved pink ones for the gold. Ok too I guess. But much more common. =( oh well. After the exchange, the man said "Class dismissed!" which was so funny cos I brought the "gang" along. Boarded the bus with Andrea and Canida for the station. I know I smile alot now and everyone stares at me weirdly, but I cant be blamed. Being happy is not a crime. =) =) =)

Today was the first time this term I had a single period PE and we were half a period late. We had to run 1.6km. I ran with Jennifer and Pei Shi but Jennifer's so sick, she runs so fast so she pulled ahead of us. And my timing sucks. 8min50s. That's worse than my timing just in BP. And BP's 2.4 is not 2.4km! It can't be. Last year's timing of 11min44s (if I remember correctly) is so not right. How is it that I walked for the first time ever during my 2.4, puked twice, and still get the fastest personal timing? IMPOSSIBLE. 2.4's coming soon. I hope I'll get below 13min. That's all I'm aiming for. I went for a run this evening, came back and did lunges. Lunges remind me of fencing and I miss fencing terribly. =(

I dont know if I can commit to Interact. I wanna get into the squash school team!!! Recre is just too slack for me. I cant stand doing sports this way. AH!

Peiyi's running for Council. Vote for PEIYI! I think I might vote for her. MAYBE. peiyi! MOMO.

I'm one lucky girl. =) Feels good this way =)

Fun-o-rama. The Ultimate Trip

We spent hours slicing and dicing, peeling, boiling, drawing, glueing and crying even (onions). I had a heart to heart talk with Gab at Jennifer's house and I guess it was nice to share honest feelings with someone. Slicing those cute-looking fishcakes with Jennifer and Munting was quite fun though I reeked of fishcake on the way home. It was late and it was worrying to me that I was the only one living in the North cos the rest were cck ppl. Thankfully Mummy could pick me up at cck. She was actually at the carpark at home when I called and she drove back to pick me up. By the time I reached home it was alr midnight. I didnt bother for my hair to dry, I just went straight to bed. I fell asleep while praying.

Woke up at 515 on fun-o-rama day. I packed my new soft toys, William Sr and William Jr, stupid squeeze ball and mundane mushroom. When I reached school at least there was somethings to look forward too. =) We walked to the candeck to see the cow. It looked bad. And kinda gross. Then we went back to our stalls.

Our stalls werent as successful as we hoped it to be. People dont really buy laksa in the morning. But business caught up later in the day. We finished 2 big pots of gravy and had to cook another in school. Edmund and I helped to peel the garlic skins off while Daren cut the onions, making everyone cry. Quite entertaining. I know our first batch of laksa tasted really good and Mr Mak came twice to buy it. He was really nice asking us about how our business was and joking with us. I also got reminded why I cant work in sales or any job that involves lots of interaction with strangers. I just dont like it when they ignore you. Cant you people see that I'm trying my utmost best to be nice? I'm sure Peiyi and Angela could cos Im not usually so welcoming. As for the games stall, the board spoiled and we had to repair it. We lost quite abit of business because of it and it was really frustrating.

People who know me should know that I dont enjoy crowded places, i dont like noise. On my way to pick my BP friends up from the bleachers I got really irritated with the crowd. I know the band playing at the foyer was quite good but the music was so loud I could feel my heart pounding. It was nice to see them, especially Carlyn, cos she's always the one I talk to when I have any problems. So, I seem to miss her the most. They bought laksa from my laksa stall. I know it was spicy. But that batch was the good one. After they got their food I went to help out with the preparation for the next pot of gravy. I know I didnt accompany my friends around the school =( and i feel freaking bad about it. I've apologised. =((((((( Im sorry you guys.

At 5 or so, Wendy, Cassandra, Min En and I were in the laksa stall talking about our laksa and how it tasted very lemongrass-y. We felt quite bad selling it to people. One person even said to his friend "Is this stall manned by students? Why all not enthu one?". I didnt turn around to look at who he was. I was feeling really lethargic by then.

This is how I spent $50 worth of coupons.
1. ACJC limited edition collegiate
2. A drink
3. Another drink
4. Swensons sticky chewy chocolate ice cream
5. 4 cans of drinks for $4
6. A bowl of laksa
7. A bowl of spaghetti
8. Gave Peiyi $2
9. I dunno where I spent the other $2 on

I was glad to see Andrea yesterday. I miss her alot too. Hope to see her more often though she's in SA now.

The day finally ended and we left college at about 730 to eat at JE. We had dinner and left although there were initial plans to watch a movie. But I was really tired by then and wanted to go home.

When I got home I couldnt wait to shower after a whole day in school. I lay on my bed waiting for my hair to dry and messaging before I dozed off. Woke up an hour later when my mum asked me what I was doing. The answer is pretty obvious. I WAS sleeping. Quickly prepared for bed and fell asleep while praying again.

I guess the day was alright. Some parts of it were really nice, some werent. Some made me smile, some didnt. It was simply just ok for most of it. But I guess, nothing can bring me down especially when im in the right place now, feeling the best in the longest time. Bring on the HAPPY. =)

Time wasted...Yet not.

I bought my court shoes yesterday. I was utterly satisfied. Like YAY! Pink nike court shoes. And cheap too =) =) =) Then I went to IKEA to eat meatballs. My mum decided 15 meatballs was just right. No! Too many mummy... =( Then she ordered 4 chic-KEN (hahahaha) wings and a plate of fries. Oh my gosh. So unhealthy. =( When we finally found a seat and I started eating the meatballs, my mummy started eating her chicken wings. I stared at her with disgust. She looked so...cannibalistic or something. She ripped the wings like some... People were looking. Ok. I shant describe more. Worst thing was I had to do it too. Shit.
Then I returned to her office. I always feel damn small and even shorter there cos those foreigners are all over 6 feet tall. And I'm only 5'1. At least I have my mum there who's also of my tall-ness. =)
Then we drove to Raffles Marina. The yachts there are so...gorgeous. There's one insanely big one in the middle of the marina which is probably the biggest yacht I've seen before. I think it shouldnt be considered a yacht. More like a SHIP! Collected some laptops from employees then drove to my grand's place for dinner.
When I reached home, I realised...MY SHOES DONT FIT!!! Like ARGH! CRAPCRAPCRAP. So I went back to Queensway today and guess what..."The warehouse isnt open on weekends. Come back on a weekday, girl." *STRANGLE*
I decided I didnt come all the way from home to not get anything done. So I bought a new pair of neon pink nike slippers and a new Adidas tennis shoe which I got for $60 cos the uncle at the shop is my friend. Hehe. My brother got the exact one too. "Since you are my good friend, brother must give good price also." My brother was happy. =)
Going back to Queensway tomorrow with Kenny. Cos Peiyi "spends the whole day in school" with me. To Ms Tay, if you ever read this, Kenny is not one of my 3 boyfriends right? lol... U have unreliable sources. =)

Appreciation

You know those days. The days you sit in the dark, alone. You think, you recollect and you start to appreciate. Today, I show my appreciation. =)

Thank you Peiyi.

Peiyi,
Thank you for being there for me. I know you feel guilty leaving me alone at times, but I dont blame you. We gotta stick together babe! We Bpians must stick together. You've always helped me with my work when you stood to gain nothing. I am happy Vlee put us beside one another in '06.

To 4p2,
Thank you for the times we shared. Thank you for making me feel like I belonged somewhere. I made the best of friends here and shared some of the sweetest moments with you guys. I'm proud to have come from 4p2. Although we have gone out separate ways, I still carry with me memories. Memories that will not be forgotten. We've gone through hell of alot of things together as a class, whether it was the cheering comp. or Vlee's detentions, we did it together. =) Dont forget to remember me.

To my teachers,
No. I have not forgotten you guys, nor the 'blood, sweat and tears' you shed just for the sake of helping us achieve more than we could ever ask for. I am sorry if I ever caused any of you any unnecessary stress or anxiety. But you have taught me well. Now in AC, I miss BP alot. I have finally experienced the "culture shock" and that really made me appreciate what I had before. BP may not have the facilities that AC has but still, I prefer the feeling of being taught with true care and devotion. Yes. BP rocks. And so does every one of you.

You make me smile. Much love. =) =) =)
